Charlie, Sheen Is Not Dead, Says Denise Richards
Charlie Sheen is not dead, his ex-wife Denise Richards said Sunday after rumors of the "Two and a Half Men" actor's demise began circulating on the internet.
Celebrity death hoaxes have become more and more frequent lately. Just this weekend, former teen pop star Aaron Carter had to dispel similar Twitter rumors that he had met his end after a drug overdose.
Richards tweeted Sunday, "the rumor about Charlie Sheen is not true. He is alive and on his way over to see his daughters. Thank u all your concern (sic)."
The website Global Associated News had reported that Sheen had lost control of a snowboard and crashed into a tree, but the hoax seems to have originated on social media websites including Facebook and Twitter.
Richards and Sheen split in 2007. They have two daughters together, Sam and Lola Rose.
