Amy Beck's husband sued by family

Amy Beck's husband sued by family of underage student; allegedly threatened 14-year-old with gun

The husband of Amy Beck, a former middle school teacher who admitted having sex with an underage student, threatened the victim's life, the student's family alleged in a lawsuit.

Beck's husband, an officer with the Los Angeles Police Department, threatened to kill the teen after he found the underage boy having sex with his wife, according to multiple reports.

The lawsuit claims that Beck's husband, National Beck, discovered the two in the couple's home and threatened the kid with his LAPD-issued weapon, the818now.com reported. The LAPD is also being named in the lawsuit.

"Officer Beck yelled at the victim and threatened that he would kill the victim with his police gun," the lawsuit reportedly stated.

Amy Beck, then a sixth-grade teacher at Jordan Middle School in California, admitted in March to having a seven-month relationship with the student, according to KTLA News.

She was sentenced to two years in prison after pleading no contest to charges of unlawful sex and lewd acts on a minor, but is expected to be released in March if she receives time off for good behavior.

The family said not only did National Beck threaten their son with a department-issued weapon, but the department failed to follow up on their complaint, according to reports.

The suit also complains that National Beck didn't immediately report the sexual abuse - which he is required to do as a police officer.

While both Becks may be in legal trouble, they have no plans to divorce, Amy Beck's husband told reporters at her sentencing hearing in May.

"Her husband is absolutely standing by her," Michael Williamson told reporters.

Todd Palin, Sarah Palin's husband, in sex scandal

Todd Palin, Sarah Palin's husband, in sex affair scandal with massage therapist Shailey Tripp: Enquirer

The National Enquirer is reporting that Sarah Palin's husband, Todd, is embroiled in a sex scandal involving an extramarital affair with a massage therapist who has been "busted for prostitution."

The Enquirer claims it has unearthed official documents showing 36-year-old Shailey Tripp was arrested for maintaining a house of prostitution in March and that cops have confiscated physical evidence that could tie Todd to the alleged affair.

The tabloid did not disclose when the alleged rendezvous took place or what evidence was seized by police.

The Palins, who have previously been dogged by cheating allegations in 2008 and 2009 and have vehemently denied each and every accusation, though they have not commented on the Enquirer story.

In the same Jan. 31 issue in which the National Enquirer reports the Palin scoop, it also reports that Jennifer Aniston has a drinking problem and President Obama is stick-thin because he has stomach parasites.

Still, the tabloid broke the story of the biggest political scandal since Bill Clinton and Monica Lewinsky, when it reported ex-VP and presidential candidate John Edwards' affair with a campaign videographer.

The Palin story, writes the tabloid, began after several media outlets received an anonymous e-mail from thepalinmorals@hotmail.com claiming Tripp had an affair with Todd, which eventually led to Tripp's arrest in March 2010.

"According to the tenants in the building of her offices, they saw Todd come and go often and heard noises that sounded like someone was having sex," the e-mail read.

A woman by the name Shailey Tripp is listed as a massage therapist in Wasilla, Alaska. Calls to the listed phone number were not returned.

The Enquirer claims its investigation revealed that Tripp, 36, was arrested on March 4 in Anchorage and charged with having a house of prostitution.

Tripp pleaded no contest on June 13, 2010, according to the tabloid, and has a sentencing date set for June 15, 2011.

Michelle 'Bombshell' McGee's Jesse James

Michelle 'Bombshell' McGee's Jesse James Affair Claim (PICS): Sandra Bullock's Is Husband CHEATING?

*SCROLL FOR MICHELLE MCGEE PHOTOS**

Did Sandra Bullock's husband cheat on her or is a tattoo model trying to drum up some publicity - or both?

Michelle "Bombshell" McGee claims she slept with Jesse James for about eleven months, and provides intimate details like his endowment and penchant for not wearing underwear, which has landed the allegations on the cover of In Touch magazine. The magazine trumpets their exclusive, and the press release about the story is below. Some photos of her from her website are also below.
When Sandra Bullock thanked her bad-boy husband, Jesse James, as she accepted her best actress Oscar for The Blind Side, she may not have known that while she was away shooting the film, Jesse was carrying on a steamy affair with a tattoo model. While Jesse has had an 11-month affair, including five weeks of sex, with Michelle "Bombshell" McGee, she believed he and Sandra were no longer together. "I would never have hooked up with him if I thought he was a married man," Michelle tells In Touch in an exclusive interview. "He gave me the impression they were separated." For weeks, while Sandra was in Atlanta shooting The Blind Side, Michelle had sex at least once a week with the Monster Garage star. Far from a one-night stand, his relationship with Michelle was intimate and highly charged. Michelle even says she called Jesse, who didn't wear underwear or condoms, by a special pet name, Vanilla Gorilla, because he was so "well-endowed."

While Jesse was in Atlanta with Sandra when she started to film The Blind Side, Michelle sent West Coast Choppers a friend request because she hoped to snag a modeling gig there. She was surprised that it was actually Jesse who wrote back to her and told her to e-mail him at his personal e-mail. From the start, Jesse wanted to meet Michelle, and it was never about business: "He started saying, 'Do you want to hang out?'" So a week after he got in touch, Michelle drove two hours from her San Diego home to West Coast Choppers in LA. "I got there around 9 at night," remembers Michelle, who was starstruck at first. "I was like, 'Holy s**t. It's really Jesse James.'" After taking Michelle on a tour of his garage, Jesse brought her into his office and locked the door. "We ended up on the couch," she says. "He wanted to watch movies, but I asked him, 'What's going on with you and Sandra?'" Jesse was evasive. "He said, 'She doesn't live here. She has a house in Austin. She is filming, and I can't talk about it.'" Assuming he and Sandra were separated, Michelle continued talking to Jesse, she says, and then, "We had intimate relations." Michelle says she and Jesse had sex "two or three times," that night -- and began what she believed was a serious relationship, texting each other several times a day, and meeting up for sex at least twice a week for the next five weeks.

Mark Kelly Astronaut Husband Of Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords

Mark Kelly, Astronaut and Husband Of Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords Boards Private Jet To Tucson After Shooting

Mark Kelly, husband of Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords is rushing to his wife’s side after Giffords was shot in the head at point blank range today during a rally outside a Safeway supermarket in Arizona. Kelly has flown three shuttle missions and is the Commander of Space Shuttle Mission STS-134, the Endeavour mission scheduled to launch April 1, 2011.

He and his twin brother Scott were both selected to be pilots by NASA in 1996, and joined the astronaut corps later that year. Scott is currently stationed on the International Space Station.

Married a little over four years, the couple met in China while serving as young leaders selected by the National Committee on U.S.-China Relations. At the time, Kelly was married with two children and Giffords was seeing someone else. By the time they met up again the following year, Kelly had divorced and the two began a friendship that included regular long distance phone calls and email exchanges.

Still just a friendship at that point, Giffords even offered Kelly dating advice. Through the years, they kept in touch. In 2005, Kelly began surprising Giffords on her campaign stops and then Giffords attended the launching of Kelly’s shuttle mission on Discovery in 2006. They began dating and the couple finally married in December of 2007.

The NASA astronaut is reported to have taken restaurateur Tilman Fertitta’s private jet with his daughters and mother to the Tucson hospital where Giffords is undergoing surgery. Jared Lee Loughner, 22, has been taken in to custody for the shooting that also killed six people, including federal judge John Roll and a nine-year-old girl.

Gabrielle Giffords Married To Astronaut Mark Kelly

Representative Gabrielle Giffords, the congresswoman who was shot earlier today at a public event in Tucson Arizona, is married to astronaut Mark Kelly.

Kelly, 56, has flown three shuttle missions and was scheduled to be the commander of the shuttle program’s final planned mission later this year. His twin brother and fellow astronaut Scott Kelly is currently stationed on the International Space Station.

There are varying accounts on Giffords’ condition, but a hospital spokesman says the Democrat is in critical condition. An aide to the Democrat was killed. An unknown number of others were injured, officials said, including additional aides to the lawmaker.

Here Is Rep. Gabrielle Giffords NYT Vows Column From 2007 Marriage To Astronaut Mark Kelly

Rep. Gabreille Giffords, the congresswoman shot at point blank range earlier today at a public event in Tuscon Arizona is married to astronaut Mark Kelly, whose twin brother, Scott J. Kelly, is also an astronaut and is reportedly currently in space.

Here is their NYT Vows column from their wedding in 2007.

“FRANK CAPRA would have had a field day with the life of Gabrielle Giffords,” Robert B. Reich mused as guests began to gather for the wedding on Nov. 10 of Representative Gabrielle Giffords and Cmdr. Mark E. Kelly.

The bride, an avid recycler, borrowed the gown.

Mr. Reich, the former Labor secretary, saw parallels in the breezy down-home sincerity of the films Capra directed and the lives of Ms. Giffords, 38, a Democratic congresswoman from her home state of Arizona, and Mr. Kelly, 43, a NASA astronaut and Navy pilot from New Jersey.

So after the ceremony, Mr. Reich was inspired to toast their spirit: “To a bride who moves at a velocity that exceeds that of anyone else in Washington, and a groom who moves at a velocity that exceeds 17,000 miles per hour.”
