Zorrilla Animal
What comes into your mind when you first hear the word ‘Zorilla’. I was thinking about a big and wild animal living in tropical forest: Gorilla. The name is similar, the only different is just the initial letter, but they are totally different.
Zorilla is a kind of skunk that live in sub-saharan Africa. Some people consider Zorilla as the smelliest animal on earth because its stinky scent can be smelled up to a half mile away! Can you imagine?
Their smell is just so strong that most animals avoid them. They are always alone, unless during the mating season. You can find them in savannahs and grasslands.
This stinky animal is nocturnal. They are very active during the night. They are also called ’striped polecats’. Zorilla is typically 60 centimeters long including a 20-centimeter tail. It lives for up to 13 years. And just like skunk, they like to play dead if they see predators.
