Federal Government Closings
During an emergency parking ban will be implemented in all streets and municipal parking. All vehicles parked on the streets during these hours will be subject to ticketing and towing.
The ban will be lifted on Thursday at 7 o’clock.
Waste collection, recycling and disposal of Christmas trees will not take place on Wednesday. Trash normally collected on Wednesday will be picked on Thursday and there will be a delay of one day for the rest of the week. Friday pickups will be collected on Saturday, according to the city.
Arlington declares snow emergency at midnight; schools closed
Arlington has declared a snow emergency that will take effect at 12 a.m. tonight.
All Arlington public schools will be closed Wednesday because of the expected winter snow storm.
