Ruby Rails Developer

Immediate opening for a freelance Rails Developer.

We're a small team with a big operation. We have a completely re-designed Rails website with lots of new features that needs a few additions before launch. After launch, we have several small and large projects that we would like to begin working on.


Requirements:

* 2+ years experience with Ruby on Rails & MySQL and a passion for clean, well-tested code
* Comfortable with version control (Git)
* Eager to learn or already familiar with Heroku deployment & integration
* Excellent written & verbal communication skills
* Already working with & comfortable with Mac OS
* Appreciation for web standards, best practices & cross browser compatibility (Firefox, Safari, Chrome, IE, etc)
* Motivated to work within a project without close supervision
* Committed to deadlines, ability to manage and prioritize work well


Extra Credit (Not Required):

* Experience working on a small team
* Experience with mobile development
* Javascript expertise (JQuery)
* Experience with 3rd party APIS (FB, Twitter, etc)
