'Law And Order: Los Angeles' Shake-Up: Skeet Ulrich, Regina Hall, Megan Boone Out
Stars Skeet Ulrich, Regina Hall and Megan Boone are leaving 'Law & Order: Los Angeles.' *Doink doink*According to Deadline Hollywood, Boone is out of the show completely, but Hall may return for a handful of episodes. Ulrich, the first actor cast on 'LOLA' and one of the two main detectives on the series, is also a casualty of the revamp. The series is currently filming episode 12.
Hall's character, ADA Evelyn Price, worked for Alfred Molina's ADA Morales, while Boone's DDA Lauren Stanton worked under Terrence Howard's Joe Dekker. Ulrich's Detective Rex Winters appeared on 'Law & Order: SVU' in a 2010 episode.
Wolf and NBC have reportedly been discussing tweaks to the fledgling series since its debut. 'LOLA' debuted to decent numbers, 10.64 million viewers, but has since dropped as low as 6.80 million. However, it's the strongest of NBC's new shows in the 18-49 demographic, pulling in 3.0 million.
Most of Wolf's 'Law & Order' shows have gone through tweaks after the first season, but firing three actors in the middle of filming seems a bit drastic. The show will continue filming while the casting shuffle happens. Deadline reports casting directors have been reading female actors for new ADA roles.
