Suspicious package blocks off NE Albuquerque Area
A suspicious package that turned out to be full of computer equipment had an area of Northeast Albuquerque blocked off early Wednesday morning.The bomb squad was called out to the area around Jefferson and San Francisco Street around 3:30 a.m. Wednesday after a security guard called in a suspicious package found.
After officials x-rayed the package they determined it was only computer equipment and deemed the area safe.
Police say the package was addressed to the Forest Service but had the wrong street address.
