"I'm not perfect. I made a mistake. I'm disappointed in myself for disappointing my fans," Miley told the interviewer. But when pressed whether it truly was a mistake—thousands of colleges kids do the same thing (or worse) every day—Miley's answer was earnest and surprisingly mature. "But they're not Miley Cyrus," she explained. "They're not role models. So for me it was a bad decision, because of my fans and because of what I stand for."
Another birthday incident that raised a few eyebrows was Miley's supposed make-out sesh with "Victorious" actor Avan Jogia, which fueled rumors the two were dating. Miley, however, insists the hub-bub is much ado about nothing. "If you look at the picture, I'm turned away, and he's kissing me on the cheek. It's very hilarious to me that people say, 'They're making out.' In making out, there's a tongue." Yeah...good point!
Happily, Miley's entire interview wasn't devoted to scandals and slip-ups. The budding actress spent a bit of time gushing about her upcoming movie "LOL" (out April 22) and co-star/new bud Demi Moore. "It really felt like Demi was my mom a little bit because we had such great conversations, and I feel like it shows on-screen," Miley said. "I can't wait for 'LOL' to come out. It's what I'm most proud of."
